A wall and technology are needed

If we build a border wall and also do the other things that we are doing now (drones, cameras, border guards), we will have a very secure border. If we only do those other things and not the wall, we will continue to have a porous border and the resulting suffering of Americans and misguided South Americans. Where a wall is built, the rate of illegal crossing goes down. Undoubtedly walls are effective. Nevertheless, drones, cameras, etc. also are necessary. U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Chuck Schumer and outspoken liberals act as if they do not understand the concept of the necessity of doing both. They say the wall will not be adequate; therefore we have to do the other things and not the wall.

Isn’t it obvious they are actually pretending to not understand the necessity for doing both? The concept is so simple, anyone can grasp it. President Donald Trump has never said to not to do the other things. Isn’t it probable that others are pretending to not understand because they are putting their own interests (power, fame, wealth) above the interests of America? We need the wall and we need people in Congress who care about America and its people instead of their own interests.
