DES MOINES — The Iowa State Patrol is asking for the public’s help regarding a fatality crash last Friday on Highway 30 in Tama County.

Tamie Ann Cockrell, 38, of Van Horne, died at the scene of the 10:30 p.m. crash at the intersection of Highway 30 and RR Avenue, near Chelsea, according to the state patrol.

Troopers said a FedEx semi-trailer truck, driven by Adam R. Nurre, 34, of Dyersville, was westbound on Highway 30 just west of RR Avenue and crossed the double yellow centerline, striking an eastbound pickup truck driven by Cockrell.

The crash remains under investigation. The state patrol on Monday requested that anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the crash before deputies arrived to come forward with any information.

Please call the District 11 state patrol office in Cedar Rapids at 319-396-1944 or Sgt. Nathan Ludwig, public information officer, at 515-745-2863.
