CEDAR RAPIDS — An 18-year-old man was shot Wednesday night in southeast Cedar Rapids.
Police responded about 9 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the area of Sixth Avenue and 16th Street SE, soon followed by a report that a man with a gunshot wound was admitted to Mercy Medical Center.
Police said the man’s injuries were not life-threatening but released no other details. The man was later released from the hospital.
No arrests have been made, and police are investigating.
