A West Union man faces child exploitation charges following a monthlong investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Adam Nakluan Milambiling, 25, is charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a Class D felony.
According to a news release, the sheriff’s office was notified Nov. 30 about a man who may be soliciting minors and have possession of child pornography in West Union. On Dec. 10, the sheriff’s office, with assistance from West Union Police, executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of State Street in West Union. Evidence, including digital storage devices, was confiscated, according to the news release.
On Jan. 1, the sheriff’s office took Milambiling into custody. If convicted, he could serve up to 30 years in prison and be placed on the sex offender registry.
According to the release, the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed, as well as more individuals arrested.
