CORALVILLE — The crowd will be singing “Don’t Stop Believing” during Coralville’s 4thFest this year.

Former Journey lead vocalist Steve Augeri will headline the free concert in S.T. Morrison Park on July 3 for the annual Fourth of July celebration, according to a city news release.

Augeri debuted as the band’s frontman in 1998 and performed with the band for nearly a decade, recording three albums and headlining multiple world tours, the release said. Augeri will perform the songs that made Journey famous, including “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” and many more.

Augeri will take the stage at 8 p.m., preceded by an opening band at 6:30 p.m.

The annual 4thFest takes place July 3 and 4, with a 5K run/walk and concert on July 3. On July 4, events includes a parade, activities in the park and fireworks. For more information, visit coralville.org/4thfest.
