Shopping at Treasures Quality Resale Shoppe could help you find bargains and support a charitable cause at the same time this holiday season.
Generating funds for Bridgehaven Pregnancy Support Center for the past 20 years — providing more than $200,000 annually to the organization — the thrift store is chock full of unique items and reasonable prices, said Store Manager Julie Lane.
“Shoppers stop in for one-of-a-kind finds,” she said. “The merchandise here is regularly changing so every day we have something different.”
The Cedar Rapids store carries items ranging from clothing and shoes to toys and books, furniture, decor and kitchen items.
“It’s the most giving time of the year and the store is filled with a sweet spirit,” Lane said.
“Many come to shop because they have a helping heart and they know that each purchase goes toward a good cause. Shopping with us is an easy and fun way to do something good for our community.”
Lane said she is most grateful for the support of the store’s volunteers who help get them through such a busy shopping season.

“Here at Treasures we like to keep the real reason for the season in mind,” she added. “We have a home feel that radiates thankfulness, love and a caring and giving atmosphere.”
Many customers who shop the store also donate goods to be sold.
“We get double support from customers who shop and donate,” she said.
