This Giving Tuesday vote for your favorite nonprofit in Gazette Gives Back

After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, you may feel as if your giving funds are running low. But don’t worry, this Giving Tuesday The Gazette has an easy and free way for you to give back to your favorite local nonprofits, called Gazette Gives Back.

Since 2015, The Gazette Gives Back program has provided over $1.8 million in free advertising to area nonprofits in hopes to enable them to share their story, empower advocates, and recruit new champions.

Anyone can vote and help determine which of the organizations on this year’s list get what amount of advertising dollars.

Active subscribers of The Gazette have five votes to give and non-subscribers have one vote. Subscribers who are enrolled in Gazette Rewards are eligible to use points for more votes.

To vote, log in with your account email and password at www.thegazette.com/givesback or vote using the non-subscriber form. Consider subscribing to give out more votes.

Voting runs Nov. 16 through Dec. 31, 2018. Every Gazette Gives Back (GGB) participant is ranked according to the number of votes received. Rank will represent a dollar/credit value that the organization will receive in free advertising for 2019. GGB participants are notified of their advertising allocation in January, and advertising will be placed in the newspaper throughout 2019. Communication including networking opportunities, GGB spotlights, and promotion of the program impact will occur throughout the year.

Call for applications for the 2020 program will begin in September 2019.
