Community members rally at the Bever Building, 417 First Ave. SE in downtown Cedar Rapids, in support of historic preservation on Monday, one day before a 60-day demolition hold was set to end. The building, built in 1923, is slated for demolition, along with the former Sub City and Albert Auto, to make way for the new Skogman headquarters.
