The History Center has spent years without a physical location, but on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, that will change. The Douglas Mansion, 800 2nd Ave. SE, will become the center’s new home.

In this episode of the Gazette Gives Back Podcast, the History Center’s Executive Director Jason Wright and Program Manager Jenny Thielman talk about the grand opening of the new location and about the center’s impact on the community.

The Gazette Gives Back podcast is a new podcast that features local non-profits and the people who work with them. Each non-profit featured is a part of the Gazette Gives Back program, which provides around 40 area nonprofits with free advertising each year, based on votes from the community.

The show is hosted and produced by Alexandra Olsen and music heard in the podcast is courtesy of Xylo-Ziko.
