Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust announced Monday it would renovate a former Wells Fargo location it’s purchased, at the corner of Edgewood Road NW and F Avenue NW in Cedar Rapids.
CRBT will relocate its Cedar Hills branch office, at 191 Jacolyn Dr. NW, once the 4,076-square-foot Edgewood and F Avenue office building is ready, which is estimated for the first quarter of 2019.
“We view this as an investment that solidifies our commitment to serve the west side of Cedar Rapids,” said Larry J. Helling, CRBT president and CEO. “The remodel of the F Avenue property, and subsequent relocation of our Cedar Hills branch, enhances our footprint due to its location at the high-traffic intersection of F Avenue and Edgewood Road NW.”
The bank declined to release cost figures on the project.
Rindernecht Associates will be the general contractor on the project, with OPN Architects handling the design.
