Dupaco Community Credit Union hired Joe Drahozal as senior insurance agent and Jillane Gilmour as a consumer lending underwriter II at the Carlson Way location in Marion. Dupaco also hired Cassie Eilers as a member service representative and Deb Ryan as a senior card services representative at the Williams Boulevard location in Cedar Rapids.

Linn County Early Childhood Iowa added Karey Chase from United Way of East Central Iowa and Amy DeMeulenaere from KCRG teelvision as governance board members.
Okpara Rice was appointed chairman of the Cedar Rapids Medical Self-Supported Municipal Improvement District.
The Linn County Decategorization Board named Jennifer Slife to its governance board.
Acquisition
Per Mar Security Services acquired Monument Electronics, which is based in Merrillville, Ind.
Midwest Alarm Services acquired TED Systems, a fire detection and security business in Kansas City.

Byrider presented the President’s Award to its store in Cedar Rapids at the company’s annual convention.
The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association presented its 2020 Builder of the Year Award to McCreedy-Ruth Construction. Sandy Steil of MMS Consultants won 2020 Associate of the Year, Josh Anderson of Bea Day Plumbers won 2020 Remodeler of the Year and Star Equipment received the 2020 Industry Partner Award.
