Calling all ghostly pups and haunted kittens — The Gazette is hosting a pet costume photography contest.

Let’s face it — we all need a bit of levity this year, so we want to see your furry friends all dressed up for Halloween. We’ll share submissions online at thegazette.com and pick our favorites to print in the Living section on Halloween.

We’re not picky — cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, birds — if you can get your animal companion to pose, we want to see them. We’ll even take photos of your goats or llamas or other barnyard friends, so long as they’re sporting a costume.

Submit high resolution photos to us in the form below by noon on Oct. 26. Happy haunting!
