Tickets to see Iowa native Maddie Poppe at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids went on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through creventslive.com.
Poppe won the 16th season of “American Idol.” The 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Clarksville will perform an “Acoustic Christmas” Dec. 12.
Tickets for the socially distanced event are $39.50 or $29.50 and will be sold in pods of two, three, four or five — guests must purchase all tickets in a selected pod.
The event will follow the venue’s Return to Live plan. All guests will be expected to follow health and safety guidelines including wearing face coverings when not at a person’s designated pod, maintaining distance between groups and staying home if sick or if a person has had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Since winning the American Idol, Poppe has appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Live! with Kelly & Ryan” and the “2018 Radio Disney Music Awards,” performed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the Special Olympics and CMA Fest in Nashville.
Her sophomore album “Whirlwind” reached No. 2 on the iTunes Pop charts and her hit single “Made You Miss” earned No. 19 on the Hot AC Radio charts. Her sentimental ballad “Not Losing You” swept radio charts as well. Most recently, Poppe performed with Ingrid Michaelson on The Dramatic Tour. She is working on new music to release soon.
