Pentatonix, the Grammy Award-winning a cappella group, will perform at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand on Aug. 17.

According to a news release, three-time Grammy-winning and multi-platinum-selling Pentatonix has sold nearly 10 million albums worldwide and the YouTube channel has more than 14.5 million subscribers.

Nine of the group’s albums reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s 200 chart. The group has had two holiday specials on NBC, released a tour documentary titled “On My Way Home” in 2015 and appeared in the film “Pitch Perfect 2.”

Singer and songwriter Rachel Platten will open for Pentatonix at the fair.

Tickets will cost $35, $40 and $50 and will go on sale at iowastatefair.org or etix.com at noon Feb. 15.
