American Idol winner Maddie Poppe adds 2 Iowa shows

Maddie Poppe will be popping up in two more Iowa venues in the coming months, in addition to her free concert at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25 during Market After Dark in downtown Cedar Rapids.

The reigning “American Idol” and Clarksville native has announced via Facebook that she also will perform at two Wild Rose Casino & Resorts in September.

She’ll be at casino in Clinton at 8 p.m. Sept. 22. Tickets are $25 to $30 VIP at www.wildroseresorts.com.

The following week, she’ll perform at the casino in Jefferson, west of Ames. Show time is 8 p.m. Sept. 28. Tickets are $25 general admission.
