Check out area kids' Lego Homes

The Greater Iowa City Area HBA Parade of Homes was postponed this year due to coronavirus, so they decided to feature area kids' Lego creations in their first ever Lego Parade of Homes!

Kids from around the area submitted photos of their lego homes, full descriptions of all the features and winners were awarded.

You can view all the entries on their Lego Parade of Homes website.

Leif, 10 & Henrik, 7 won first place for their description of their island-style home:

This house has two stories and it is an open floor plan. On hot days you can take a dip in the pool and you can have soft serve ice cream from your very own dispenser. When you are cooking meals you have a big island and a mixer and storage for leftovers. Wehn you want to relax you can go read a book in the living room while someone plays piano. When it's time to go to sleep you can cozy up in bed by the fire. Right up in the morning you can take a shower with a glass wall...Also at night you can have a nice time at the bonfire and roast marshmellows.
