Video No. 1 - I asked about 7 on 7. Junior quarterback Jake Rudock
said they do actually have seven players on each side. I asked if he threw the ball in the air. He said yes. There was frivolity. I did ask about arm strength and how QBs worked that. Rudock said his arm feels stronger. He also said he's worked on cutting INTs.
Video No. 2 - There has been a lot of talk about redshirt freshmen wide receivers. Derrick Willies was the star of spring practice, no question about that. Don't sleep on junior Tevaun Smith

. His career jump-started last season and he's as hungry as anyone. 'I don't feel like I've done anything yet.”
Video No. 3 - Recruiting coordinator Seth Wallace
is in his second tour of duty at Iowa. He was here in the mid-2000s as a grad assistant. He talked a little about his defensive coaching responsibilities, but only a little. His job is to recruit. In some respects, Wallace believes Iowa is ahead of the curve. In others, mostly manpower, Wallace believes Iowa is catching up. The UI did post two recruiting assistant jobs this week. Iowa is joining the arms race in recruiting, but Wallace said he doesn't see it getting too big.
