Video 1
- Senior strong safety John Lowdermilk said the defense hated the Maryland result, but it's time to let it go and play the next game.
Lowdermilk is asked about WR Derrick Willies' departure, Northwestern's offense (less running QB, but experienced QB with good arm and two good RBs).

NW has won six of last nine against Iowa? 'We know it's a tough game. They're well coached. It's always physical.”
Video 2
- Senior DT Carl Davis talks about the bye week distractions. Young people and bad decisions. They're moving past it and looking at NW.
Is there something extra with Northwestern. 'In a sense, it's kind of a rivalry game.”
If you think about it, NW and Iowa are a lot alike. It's two programs that are on the outside looking in when it comes to the Big Ten.
At the end . . . 'The Big Ten playoff right now.”
That's it, that's it exactly. This is a month of playoff. The level of engagement goes up or dissipates every week.
Video 3
- C Austin Blythe talks about what needs to happen in the running game. He moves beyond the 'executing.” For the O-line, the issue is sustaining and finishing blocks. They're getting there, but they're not finishing. That's the difference between 2013 OL and 2014 OL.
The 2014 OL is waiting for its big impact game. It had those against Iowa State and Minnesota last season. It hasn't had that yet this year.
On the Northwestern rivalry. Is there a respect thing?
