Video 1 - Iowa running back Mark Weisman talks about the 'mental plan” that has helped Iowa to success on the road recently.
I don't think Weisman gets enough credit for his short-yardage abilities. It's a big deal. He's 6 of 6 on fourth downs this year.
He knows his future is at fullback in the NFL. We discuss.

Video 2 - LB Quinton Alston talks about how the defense relies on trust to catch other team's speed.
Iowa also shortened the bench last week, but that was because IU ran a very up-tempo offense. Subs would've been caught going in and out.
On CB Desmond King. He reminds lots of teammates, apparently, that he was a wrestler in high school.
Video 3 - CB Greg Mabin talks about the competitions some of the defensive backs have with each other. These guys sounds hilarious and you better stay on your toes.
Mabin said speed is no contest.
On King as a wrestler: 'He tries to [remind people that he is a former wrestler]. We have to keep our head on a swivel at all times.”
Video 4 - WR Damond Powell is starting to become a bigger part of the playbook. I start this convo with blocking, the art of WR blocking. Powell said he's good with it. He's a willing battler with LBs, even though he might come up short on it. Powell knows acutely how important it is, because he's the tunnel screen guy and that play depends on blocking.
