Video 1

- It didn't make the tape, but OL Andrew Donnal did recently bag a coyote while out hungint for deer with fellow OL Brandon Scherff.

I don't hunt. Wish I had time.

Anyway, topics: The NW game is a big deal, on RBs.

Kirk Ferentz was tough on the OL after Maryland. The OL has taken that to heart, Donnal said.

- Iowa WR Damond Powell talks about his ride here at Iowa. He thought he would be a basketball player, so football has been kind of a crash course for him.

He's learning and he's starting to really produce.

Video 3

- RB Mark Weisman talked a little bit about the injury sophomore RB LeShun Daniels sustained during bye week.

Weisman is ready in case his carries increase to what he saw last season.

Weisman was as angry as I've seen him after Maryland. He definitely wants to wipe that off the board.

I asked about leadership and guys getting into guys' faces.

- Quickly, LB Quinton Alston on departed WR Derrick Willies: 'He's going to be a great weapon for whatever team he goes to. . . . We don't want anyone to leave. I do wish him the best wherever he goes.”

The bye week from hell, huh?
