Note: Lindquist Field in Ogden was not originally scheduled as a full ballpark visit for Matt Nelson's Ballparks of the Midwest series, so there is no complete video review of this park. However, there are plenty of ballpark shots in the video clip below that follows two native Eastern Iowans and their time during the 2011 season in Ogden.
Lindquist Field in Ogden, Utah is home to the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League, an advanced Rookie level affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. It is also home to one of the nicest views in all of baseball.

The Wasatch Range appears closer to the ballpark here, than its counterparts down the road in Orem and Salt Lake City (although those are also spectacular views). Lindquist Field opened in 1997, but was expanded to include more seating in 2008. The ballpark offers not only a nice view of the nearby mountains, but also of downtown Ogden which is just off to the south and east.
The park includes plenty of standing room area in left field and along the back of much of the seating. There is plenty of space for kids in right field with a play area. Unfortunately, to get to most of the concession stands, fans do have to leave the playing area and duck out for a few moments. Also, if you sit right behind the dugouts, there is a lot of netting in those areas. (I'm all for safety, but many fans find the netting distracting, and many parks don't have the netting behind the dugouts as well as behind home plate)
Without question, Lindquist Field offers a ballgame and a view that is rivaled by few other ballparks at any level of professional baseball.
