Iowans interested in attending “Field Of Dreams” game can enter MLB ticket lottery
August 12th game between Yankees and White Sox held at 8,000-seat stadium adjacent to movie site

DYERSVILLE — Major League Baseball announced Thursday afternoon that it will conduct a lottery for fans wishing to attend next month’s MLB game at the “Field Of Dreams” movie site between the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees.
The game is Thursday, August 12.
MLB said public registration for access to the ticket lottery will begin Friday and run through Friday, July 23. It is available only to Iowa residents 18 years or older.

MLB said winning Iowa fans can purchase a ticket strip which consists of two game tickets and a parking pass. It did not say how many ticket strips will be available or how much they cost.
The lottery drawing will be Aug. 1, with winners notified the next day.
The White Sox-Yankees game will be played at an 8,000-seat stadium MLB constructed solely for the game adjacent to the “Field Of Dreams” movie site just outside of Dyersville.
