Iowa City West's Oliver Martin named Gatorade's player of year for Iowa

IOWA CITY — Iowa City West's Oliver Martin has been named Iowa's 2016 Gatorade Player of the Year for prep football, it was announced Monday.
The senior helped the Trojans to the Class 4A state championship game as a starting wide receiver and defensive back. As a receiver, he caught 85 passes this season for 1,272 yards and 14 touchdowns.
He also intercepted a pair of passes. A four-year starter, Martin has not committed to a college as yet.
