Another top-50 world ranked golfer is committed to playing in the Zach Johnson Foundation Classic on Aug. 1.
Jonathan Byrd, currently ranked 46th, was added to the field Monday for the event to be held at Elmcrest Country Club.
Byrd, 33, has five career PGA Tour victories and was the tour's rookie of the year in 2002. His last win came in this year's season-opening Tournament of Champions where he beat Robert Garrigus in a playoff. Byrd, who has earned over $2.3 million so far this season on tour, also won the 2007 John Deere Classic.

Other pros committed to the event include Johnson, 2009 British Open champion Stewart Cink, former PGA Champion Davis Love III, Kyle Stanley, who just finished second in last week's John Deere Classic, and 2010 Ryder Cup team member and rookie of the year Rickie Fowler.
The event will benefit Kids on Course, a program supporting the educational and developmental needs of students in Cedar Rapids.
Event-long coverage of the Classic will be televised by KCRG 9.2 and KCRG.com, starting at 10 a.m.
