CEDAR RAPIDS — The House Majority PAC, a super PAC helping Democrats try to win a majority in the U.S. House this November, has launched a television ad in Iowa’s 1st District slamming Republican Rep. Rod Blum for trying to cover up his health care record from Iowa voters.

“Wingtips” begins running in the Cedar Rapids media market with a buy of over $140,000 behind it.

According to the PAC, “In Washington, Rod Blum toes the party line, voting for the toxic GOP agenda. But when in Iowa, Blum tries to dress up his disastrous record.”

Blum voted for the GOP health care bill that would take away coverage from thousands of Iowans, gut protections for people living with pre-existing conditions, and impose an “age tax” on older Americans, the PAC said.
