New vendor opens in NewBo City Market

New in NewBo

CEDAR RAPIDS — NewBo City Market has welcomed several new businesses to its incubator. One of its newest additions, Capo Italian Beef, opened earlier this month.

Capo owner Eli Harika offers Chicago-style Italian beef sandwiches, rice bowls, hot dogs and more.

Two other businesses are anticipated to open at the market later this month, bringing it to near full capacity.

“The summertime is always an exciting time of year at the Market,” executive director Julie Parisi said. “We often see new businesses open up at this time, after a long winter of business planning. The foot traffic from many popular Market and community events help start these new businesses on the right foot as they’re gaining exposure for their business and meeting customers for the first time.”
