Cedar Rapids is next on a growing list of American cities to get MrBeast Burger, a ghost kitchen concept started by YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson.
The fast food brand, which operates out of the kitchen of an existing restaurant through delivery service apps only, announced a new Cedar Rapids location on its Twitter page April 29. It serves burgers, fries and grilled cheese sandwiches.
The address listed for the Cedar Rapids location on the MrBeast website shows it will operate out of the Red Robin on First Avenue SE. A representative from MrBeast Burger’s social media told The Gazette that the Cedar Rapids location still is being set up and will be open “in the near future.”

MrBeast Burger has three other ghost kitchens open in Iowa in Bettendorf, Davenport and Dubuque.
MrBeast, Donaldson’s online persona, launched the burger chain in December with the “World’s First Free Restaurant,” which gave away wads of cash to customers, creating a viral video that now has 60 million views.
Paradise Indian Grill moves to Hiawatha
Paradise Indian Grill closed its Cedar Rapids location at 5200 Fountains Dr. NE on April 30 to move to Hiawatha.
Its new location at 1950 Blairsferry Rd. will open mid-May, according to the restaurant’s social media.
The restaurant opened in October 2019.
