Chick-fil-A temporarily closing Cedar Rapids location

CEDAR RAPIDS — Chick-fil-A’s location on Collins Road NE near Lindale Mall will be temporarily closed, according to the restaurant’s social media page.

The chicken chain’s location closed starting March 27 to begin its remodel. It has not announced how long the remodel will take or when it will reopen.

“During this time, we will be improving our drive-thru to best serve you every day,” the restaurant said.

The temporary closure comes immediately after competitor Raising Cane’s opened a new Cedar Rapids location across the street.

Chick-fil-A’s other Cedar Rapids location, 2610 Edgewood Rd. SW, will remain open.
