The Brass Fountain in Solon opened its doors June 29 for burgers, sandwiches, specialty phosphate sodas, sundaes and alcoholic ice cream beverages.
Located at 122 E. Main St., current hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
With a retro drugstore look, The Brass Fountain offers alcoholic “prescriptions” like The Peanut Butter Solution, made with bourbon, and the Tipsy Cow made with stout.
Sodas served over the counter are stirred by spoon with housemade syrups and carbonated water jerked from an old-fashioned fountain.
