Barrel House opening new Coralville location

CORALVILLE — After a busy couple years in the Corridor, Barrel House still is on a roll.

The burger and tap house, based in Davenport, is expanding yet again, adding a Coralville location.

The Corridor’s third site, 3230 Redhawk St., Suite 300, is tentatively opening around May.

The new addition comes after Barrel House opened a Marion location in December 2021 and a downtown Cedar Rapids location in May 2022.

Before coming to the Corridor, the small Iowa chain established in 2011 had two locations in Davenport and one in Dubuque. In recent years, it also has expanded to Des Moines and Bloomington, Ill.

Barrel House offers an upscale twist to tavern food, including burgers and fries, signature sauces, sandwiches, wraps and tacos, alongside Iowa-brewed beers and specialty cocktails.
