Tim's great-grandfather started John B. Turner & Sons mortuary in 1888. He worked as a funeral director in the family business until the business was sold. He then went on to work in a successful career in sales. In his earlier years, Tim learned to whistle at 10 months old. He loved to sing, singing in the choir at Westminster Presbyterian Church and Harmony Hawks. He also was a former member of Rotary and Exchange Clubs. Tim was preceded in death by both of his parents. Tim has chosen to be cremated and a private burial will take place at a later date.
