Terry Dean Orcutt passed away Sept. 6, 2018, at his home in Lake Worth, Fla.
Terry was born at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids on April 23, 1970, to Thomas "Whitey" and Fern (Ramen) Orcutt. After graduation from Jefferson High School in 1988, he moved from Iowa to Florida with his family.
Terry is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Orcutt and Eugene Rihl of Florida; stepdaughters, Michaela Heaton of Alabama and Briana (Tyler) Lacko of Georgia; brother, Lonny (Diana) of Cedar Rapids; and sister-in law, Cindy Orcutt. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Carson Rihl, Jacek Heaton, Eduard Heaton, Zachary Lacko and Nicholas Lacko; and several nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jeff Orcutt; and niece, April Orcutt.
Terry was an independent contractor and loved to work with his hands. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his beloved dog, Getters, and riding his Harley.
Terry's passing is a great loss. His family and friends and all are invited to a celebration of life for Terry on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the home of Bill and Elizabeth Smelzer, 730 Kainz Dr., Hiawatha.
Cheyenne Orcutt of Punta Gorda, Fla., will be holding a celebration of life from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Harbor Heights Civic Association, 2530 Harbour Dr., Punta Gorda, FL 33983.
