Sandra Marie Schulte, 76, of Norway, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Sandra was born Oct. 26, 1944, to Wayne and Helen (Kokes) McVay in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Norway High School. On July 25, 1962, Sandy married Jerry Schulte at St. Michael's Church in Norway. Sandy was blessed with being a homemaker and mom to her four children.
She was a great cook and enjoyed playing cards, reading and crosswords. Most of all she loved her time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sandy was a member of the Norway American Legion and St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway.
She is survived by her children, Scott (Lea) Schulte and Shane (Tracy Seboldt) Schulte, both of Norway, Sheila Schulte of Kalona and Shari (Dan) Kahle of Norway; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Gary Stallman); brothers, Bob (Gloria) McVay, Dick (Monette) McVay; great family friends, the Rudie family and many more loving family and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry (2018); granddaughter, Jessica Schulte (2020); and sister, Billie Anne.
Private family service will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery, Norway, at a later date.
