MILDRED “MILLIE” KEPHART STEWART
Cedar Rapids
Mildred 'Millie' Kephart Stewart of Cedar Rapids died peacefully on Jan. 14, 2022.
Millie was born in Spencer, Iowa, on Feb. 12, 1934, the daughter of Harold and Verna Rosella (Quick) Kephart. She graduated from Marion High School, Class of 1952. She married Albert Stewart in 1983. They resided in Swisher, Iowa, after their marriage and later moved to West Fork, Ark. Millie returned to her home state after her husband's passing to be closer to her family.
She enjoyed quilting, crafting, collecting sports cards and had a real interest in archeology, particularly Egyptian archaeology. She was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Millie is survived by her daughter, Charla Schuchart of Kent, Wash.; brother. James (Bobbi) of Bella Vista, Ark.; sisters, Pamela Richardson of Cedar Rapids, Cristal (Eric) Tanner of Marion and Delta Richardson (Kent) of Coralville, plus many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stewart; mother, Rosella Richardson; father, Harold Kephart; stepfather, Herbert Richardson; and her beloved cat, Joseph, as well as several much loved fur companions over the years.
Per her request there will be no services.
