at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Carla Burge. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Maurice was born Sept. 6, 1920, in rural Linn County, the son of Taylor and Ella (Smith) Minor. He was a 1939 graduate of Martelle High School and was united in marriage to Eileen Strong on Aug. 1, 1942, in Cedar Rapids. He was a Navy veteran, serving during World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Maurice began farming in Linn County before moving to Delaware County, where he farmed for 58 years. Maurice will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
