Lisa Ann (Engelking) Price, 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at her home in Vinton, with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., in Vinton, with the Rev. Kurt Brubaker officiating. Interment will be held at Salem Cemetery, Van Horne. Visitation will be held from
10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Lisa was born on Aug. 22, 1958, the daughter of Robert and Rosalie (Gulstorf) Engelking. She graduated from Benton Community High School, with the class of 1976. Lisa had worked as a CNA and OMT at the Cedar Valley Ranch for a number of years.
On Dec. 9, 1995, she was united in marriage to Ralph Price at the Vinton Legion Hall. Lisa collected bears and was a true animal lover, she also enjoyed puzzles in her spare time. She was also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by husband, Ralph; mother, Rosalie Glime of Van Horne; three daughters, Amanda Engelking of Vinton, Abigail (Brendon) Cox of Vinton and Alyssa (Brandon Hundley) Price of Center Point; five grandchildren, Bentley Price, Brendon Cox Jr. Bennett Cox, Blaklee Cox and Harper Rose Hundley; brother, Lenny (Brenda) Engelking of Keystone; sister, Luann (Steve) Engbretson of Elberon; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Lori Vest.
