Linda L. Davis, 76, of Ladora passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Jan. 28, 2023, at Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo, Iowa.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at Smith Funeral Home in Victor from noon to 5 p.m. with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m.

Linda was born on Sept. 30, 1946, to Ronald and Mable Williamson in Belle Plaine, Iowa, and grew up in Hartwick. She graduated from HLV High School with the Class of 1964.
Linda and her first husband, LeRoy Bringmann, had two children Butch and LeAnn. They resided in Ladora.
She married her second husband, Bill Davis. They resided in Ladora.
Linda had worked many jobs, including working for Benco Manufacturing in Belle Plaine. Linda enjoyed watching Westerns, playing bingo, country style dancing, crocheting, and visiting with friends and family on the computer or outside on the patio in the summer. Her love for horses began at a young age when she started her horse collection, which continued throughout her life.
Linda is survived by her children, Butch (Renee) Bringmann and LeAnn (Chris) Smith; her grandchildren, Samantha (Tyler) Happel, Amber (Grant) Nelson, Jacob (Mickey Reynolds) Bringmann, Josh (Amy) Meeks, Aimee (Jerry Johnson) Smith and Justin Smith; her great-grandchildren, Malcom, Quinn and Colin Happel, Natalie and Elisa Nelson, Jackson Meeks and Danica Essary; and her sister-in-law, Elaine Williamson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Davis; her siblings, Everett Williamson, Donald Williamson, Irene Criswell and Mary Ann Roth, and her beloved cat, Babe.
