Kohler, Helen E.
Helen E. Kohler, 89, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway in Waterloo, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and one hour before services Friday.
Survivors include a son, Tim (Dena Conzemius) Kohler of Waterloo; a daughter, Therese (Gary Benser) Hockey of Marion; three grandchildren, Mikki (Michael) Moody, Brian (Alison) Hockey and Rebecca (Jerry) Dickson; and three great-grandchildren, Kyleigh McMurrin-Hockey and Claire and Adrian Dickson.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard.
She was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Loyal and Sarah Eckert Lines. She married Robert L. Kohler on Feb. 5, 1947, in Waterloo. He died May 7, 1997. Helen was employed with Walker Remedy for several years.
