In retirement, he started his own karaoke service, Edertainment, and his shows were eagerly anticipated by his group of regulars. Ed was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He lived for his family, sharing over 43 years of marriage and raising three children with the love of his life, Renee. He found his greatest calling in being the best Papa to his eight grandkids. He loved attending ball games, dance recitals, plays, concerts and school events as often as possible.
