Donald Russell Brown, 90, longtime Iowa City resident, former educator and coach, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 18, 2022. He will be greatly missed by his family, but knowing he and his wife are together again brings them peace.
A time for family and friends to gather to remember and visit will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 1:30 p.m., with a short service to conclude the afternoon, beginning at 3 p.m. At Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Don's name to The Bird House-Hospice Home of Johnson County.
