Denise Lynn Moore, 62, of Iowa City, Iowa, passed away at her home in the early hours of Friday, May 19, 2023, surrounded by her family. Denise’s passing was due to complications related to treatment in her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Denise is survived by her husband, Dennis “Denny” Moore; their two sons, Nate Moore (Jessica) of Columbus Junction and Nick Moore (Abby) of Cedar Falls; grandsons, Vinny and Mick; granddaughters, Dianna Denise “DeeDee” and Delaney; brothers, Doug (Connie) Nauman, Darren (Kim) Nauman, Daryl (Carrie) Naumam and Dennis (Robyn) Nauman; sister-in-law, Karen Nauman. She also had many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Yvonne Nauman; and her brother, Daniel Nauman.
Private services have been held. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held this summer with details to be shared by her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Denise’s name to Vive IV Therapy of Dubuque, 4855 Asbury Rd No. 7, Dubuque, IA 52002; where donations will be used to offset costs for other patients with cancer receiving intravenous Vitamin C.
