Dale "Pete" Pedersen of Gold Canyon, Ariz., passed at his home surrounded by family and friends. Pete was the son of Elizabeth and George Pedersen of Osceola, Iowa, and was married to Caren Thurston Pedersen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In his life, Pete served in the military, worked at IBM and LeFebure, and later started his own company with a business partner in the electronic security industry.
Pete spent his "semi-retired" days playing golf, traveling and enjoying the company of friends, as well as keeping up with his kids and grandkids. He was a lifelong Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed many outdoor activities.
Survivors include his wife, Caren; and extensive family throughout Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Kansas and Texas.
No services will be held.
