Doug had been a resident of Dike, Postville and Sumner, Iowa. In retirement, he and Connie enjoyed their winter home in Cortez, Fla. He cherished his grandchildren, the family ski trips to Colorado, expeditions to Yellowstone and summers in Okoboji. Doug was a proud member of Dike United Methodist Church.
