Our mother was one tough cookie. She survived both a depression and a world war and successfully raised five children in the face of life's daily challenges.
Cecilia held the position of president of RCJB Inc. for 30 years, retiring at age 80. She left the bar of accomplishments so high, her records may never be matched. She was dedicated, tough, relentless and persistent. We are proud to call her mom and only hope that we can be half the person she has been.
Mom, we love you and will never forget how much you have given all of us.
Through the years, we all begin to ask why we are here and how we want people to remember us. We can only imagine the number of lives our mother has impacted. There never will be a Christmas that we do not think of how much mom enjoyed decorating the tree, making cookies and sweets, buying presents and having the entire family together. Mom carried the legacy of Grandma Stovie in the comfort food cooking and her desire to make a celebration out of every person's birthday. She made an indelible mark on our lives and her passion will be passed along for generations to come.
Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Mercy.
