Beverly Farrington, 65, of Anamosa, died on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at her home following a sudden illness.
Beverly Lynn Sturgeon was born May 27, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of James and Ruby (Varner) Sturgeon. She attended schools in Anamosa and graduated from Anamosa High School in 1973.
She cared for her family and home and ran Kids R Us, her daycare in Center Point.
Beverly enjoyed yardwork, gardening, camping and fishing. She was a gifted artist who loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Jason, Anamosa, and Brandon, Olin; grandchildren, Riley, Rory, Riktor, Alexis, Colton, Blaze and Brooke; siblings, Vernon (Linda) Tuttle, Kalona, Larry (Pam) Franklin, Springville, Paul (Jeanie) Oldmixon, Kyle, Texas, David Sturgeon, Anamosa, James (Linda) Sturgeon, Urbana, Paul Sturgeon, Anamosa, and Mark Sturgeon, Anamosa; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kimberly Ann Sturgeon; and a sister and brother-in-law, Laurie Sue and Howard Hartley.
