Tombstones damaged at cemetery near Oelwein
OELWEIN - Authorities in Fayette County are investigating vandalism at a cemetery near Oelwein.
According to the Sheriff's Office, several tombstones were tipped over at Union Otsego Cemetery on Neon Road. The tombstones date back to the early 1900s, and one was broken beyond repair.
The tombstones were in the process of being restored, authorities said.
