Tire blows, pickup rolls on Highway 151 near Springville
One person was hurt when a pickup rolled into the median Friday morning along Highway 151.
Sgt. Joel Peshek, of the Linn County sheriff's office, said a woman was westbound in the pickup around 7 a.m. when a front tire blew, causing her to lose control just west of Linn Grove Road. The pickup rolled, shattering windows and crunching the cab, before coming to rest on its tires.
The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was taken by ambulance to a Cedar Rapids hospital. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening, Peshek said.
Traffic was not impacted by the accident.
