Teen arrested in Cedar Falls robbery investigation

CEDAR FALLS - A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a Cedar Falls robbery.
According to the Cedar Falls Police Department, officers responded to a report of a robbery near the intersection of University Avenue and College Street around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 10. The victim reported being hit over the head with a golf club, police said.
On Thursday, police announced they arrested 17-year-old Isaiah L. Jackson, of Waterloo, in connection with the robbery. Police said the victim confronted Jackson about taking property from his residence. Jackson responded by hitting the victim with the golf club and fleeing with property belonging to the victim.

Jackson is being held at the Black Hawk County Jail on one count of second-degree robbery, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
