CEDAR RAPIDS - Police are asking the public for help in locating family members of a man who died this week.
Richard Willis, 56, was found dead Tuesday in southeast Cedar Rapids. Police said Willis was not in good health, and the cause of death appears to be a medical issue.
Sgt. Brian Been said police have made several calls but have been unsuccessful in their search for next of kin. They have information that Willis may have had a sister in Anamosa who is married.
Police are hoping a family member will come forward so funeral arrangements can be made.
Relatives or close friends with information about the family are asked to call the Linn County Medical Examiner's Office at (319) 892-5060.
