Police continue to seek leads in hit-and-run

UPDATE: A 74-year-old man remained in critical condition Monday, three days after a hit-and-run in southeast Cedar Rapids, police said.
Jackie Latour, of Cedar Rapids, suffered head injuries when the car knocked him to the ground Friday at the corner of Second Avenue and 15th Street SE, police said. Witnesses told police the car hit Latour around 4:25 p.m. and continued west on Second Avenue SE at a high rate of speed.
Sgt. Michael Wallerstedt the car is believed to be a dark-colored Chevrolet. He said neither the driver nor the car have been located.
Latour was still at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Monday, police said.
